"One Team, One Dream" that was the logo for this year's Saranac Cross Country Team, and was shown to be true throughout the season. Saranac's boys finished 3rd in the conference, 2nd at their regional, and made it to the MHSAA State Finals. The girls, though struggling with injuries throughout the season, finished 4th in the CMAC and fell just short of making it to the State Finals.
Saranac's Cross team has had no short of success in both recent history and in the past decades. The program is filled with all-state athletes, many of whom went on to run in college. The future also looks to be bright, as the current class of middle schoolers certainly have the potential of being great.
