Saranac's "Magical 8", who qualified for state meet
Saranac came off it's success in the regular season into the postseason, which includes regionals, and state meet. The boys ran a solid race, finishing second in their regional, qualifying for the finals. The girls, who'd been fighting through injury the whole season, gave it all, but fell just 10 points short of finishing in the top 3, which would get them to states. The boys at states came up short of their goal, but still finished at a solid 16th.
